Setting sail from Newcastle on Friday 3 November, fans of motown and soul are in for a treat with the ship transformed into a floating concert venue. Headlined by the legendary Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, the band are known for a string of iconic hits during the 1960s including Dancing in the Street and Nowhere to Run. Martha will also be joined by a number of other well-known acts and DJs.
The full prize includes a mini cruise for four people with DFDS (Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator) on its route from Newcastle to Amsterdam, sleeping in a sea view cabin, with meals on each crossing included. You’ll also have the chance to explore the famous sights of Amsterdam with coach transfers from the port of IJmuiden to the Dutch capital’s vibrant city centre provided.
Aside from the music, on board there’s plenty more to keep you entertained, with 5 restaurants, a number of bars with live music and even a cinema, casino and shop stocking everything from designer deals to souvenirs. You will arrive back in Newcastle on Sunday 5 November.
